Enter into Neth Space and you will find thoughts and reviews of books and other media that fit the general definition of speculative fiction. This includes the various genres and sub-genres of fantasy, science fiction, epic fantasy, high fantasy, hard sci-fi, soft sci-fi, new weird, magical realism, cyberpunk, urban fantasy, slipstream, horror, alternative history, SF noir, etc. Thoughts are my own, I'm certainly not a professional, just an avid reader avoiding his day job.

SciFiGuy Exposes Urban Fantasy/Paranormal Romance Cover Art
That was too fun! Although I think, since he pointed out tattoos and tushes during the intro that he should have had a graphic pointing to all the tushes as well as the tattoos! LOL! Very creative.
Fun to see one of Colleen Gleason's books in there. Cover art is certainly something that is copied and milked to its bitter end, but I certainly cannot complain too much about the hot women urban fantasy covers. ;)
Hey Neth thanks for the linkage. In retrospect I might have done this a little different. The vid was composed of images just from books I have read. I didn't include covers of books I hadn't and folks have been kind with a bunch more suggestions for a future update.
I posted this on my blog this morning too. You must have gotten the email from John Lawson...
ReplyDeleteGreat video though. I love how he pointed out the moon thing too. I never really paid attention to that.
I like this video and forwarded the link to my wife.
