Snowed in and the world is quite, white and there is way too much shoveling to do. So, I'm in the mood for something that has some color and no snow.
Bryce Canyon, Utah - this happens to be what I use as a desktop wallpaper.
Enter into Neth Space and you will find thoughts and reviews of books and other media that fit the general definition of speculative fiction. This includes the various genres and sub-genres of fantasy, science fiction, epic fantasy, high fantasy, hard sci-fi, soft sci-fi, new weird, magical realism, cyberpunk, urban fantasy, slipstream, horror, alternative history, SF noir, etc. Thoughts are my own, I'm certainly not a professional, just an avid reader avoiding his day job.

Great view!
Good stuff. I live in Utah, and my uncle used to own a hotel in Bryce Valley that was basically right next to Bryce Canyon National Park (you drove through this gorgeous red rock canyon to get there). We probably did virtually every activity there was to do in that park during the summers.
I envy that - I only spent a day hiking around. It really is spectacular and I could spent a whole lot more time (and hope to in the future)
