Books Received: Nov. 30 - January 17

It's been a while since I've posted one of these, so here the some books I've received lately. Hopefully I'll get another review written after this big deadline at work passes. No promises.

I see quite a few books in that pile that I'm interested in reading. I read "Discovery of Witches" a while ago, and the best way I can think of to describe it is as what Twilight could have been, had it been written well, and for adults.

re-load the page. I originally posted the wrong picture (one that was 1 year old).

But I do need to read Discovery of Witches eventually.

One of your rare books received posts where other than CONTROL POINT, which I've already read, nothing strikes my fancy.

Hmmm...not sure I agree. There are several there that I find interesting.

Control Point - I keep hearing good things, so I plan to give it a read sooner than later.

Planeswalker - I keep hearing great things. I want to see what Mcdonald does in a YA environment.

In The Lion's Mouth - this sounds like good fun. Even though it's part of series, supposedly it stands on its own.

I like Mark Chadbourn's fiction a lot, though I won't get to his anytime soon (I still have a much earlier trilogy to finish up). Mieville is always a winner with me, though I read Embassytown a while back, so this goes into the charity pile. Same for Territory, though I haven't read it yet, I've heard great things and I've had the HB of it for quite a while.

...and this why I always feel so far behind...so many good books to read...so little time to read.
